So the big one. The biggest game so far this season? Tied on 38 points and we're only 3rd on goal difference, as well as only being 2 points of an auto-place. Do you reckon now is a good time to separate ourselves from Boro? The disappointment of the 3-0 home defeat that effectively secured Norwich's promotion is still easy to recall and revenge might be high on the list of emotions for Saturday. Up until the double defeat of last season, recent games against the Smoggies had been satisfying victories. Chris Burke's misread free kick that bounced before looping into the net and Roger Johnson's diving header at the back post in our FA Cup run had both secured victories at the Riverside against strong Middlesbrough sides. Considered favourites for promotion for a while now, last seasons money spending antics imploded along with Strachen and Southgate also failed to ensure a return to the Premier League. So is their year? Barry Robson, Marvin Emnes and Scott McDonald all form part of a dangerous attacking force, but will the test a City defence that hasn't conceded in four games? This is a big game in the Prediction League also, and a difficult one to predict as well. Being the penultimate game before the splitting of the league into two divisions, and every point could make the difference if you're about the drop The latest table is here - http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/107706-Prediction-League-Update I'm going for a tight 1-0 victory to City, cos I believe Good Luck
Decisions, decisions, I guess we need to know the team sheet Having heard the commentary the other day I can't see anything other than a draw for this one But let's be optimistic heh, 2-0 bluebirds win please
1- 1 draw again please Sheep. I need max points to stay in Div 1 but will gladly sacrifice myself for a City win.
My Boro supporting work mate reckons they are puncihng above their weight and will fall away over Christmas. I hope the fall starts on saturday. 3 - 1 to City please!
So, a chance to avenge the team that all but confined you to the lottery that is the play offs and thus allowing the mighty Canaries the 2nd automatic position (thanks Boro). A day I will never forget and I can still visualize the goals and how I bounced around the room at each one! Punching above their weight this season? Possibly, and certainly they have not exactly set the Championship alight with their displays so far but do appear to have tightened up a little at the back, so to that end I am going to predict Cardiff will get their 2nd consecutive 0-0 draw. Cardiff City 0-0 Middlesbrough but maybe it will be 0-3 again (that will be my popularity with this board taking a severe hit )
