Prediction League Cup

    I have suggested to @gelders pie that I run a knock out cup as a bit of extra fun starting the first week back after the WC.

    As we have 28 players there will be 4 byes in the first round. The draw will be based on this week results. The top 4 scores this week get a bye then 5th plays 28th , 6th plays 27th and so on.

    Each tie will be won on the points gained in the league that week, in the case of a draw if one of the players got the guest fixture they win in extra time. Then it will go on the scores from the previous week to win the penalty shoot out.

    Second round will be drawn in the same way the play with the highest points the week of the first round , still in the cup plays the lowest scoring player and so on.

    it will take 5 weeks to run. If it goes down well , I will do another one before the end of the season.

    Great idea. I'm in. Surely though top 4 in the league should have the bye:emoticon-0138-think...asking for a friend<laugh>

    All you need to do is lol at the draw and se who you have to beat. I do all the hard work . Just thought it fair to have the rules up top in the first post.

    Ok I will post the draw over weekend. So for the World Cup break we can all have some me banter with our opponents.
