Prediction League - Crystal Palace (A)

Last game of the season already? Where's the time gone? And don't you just live for games like these. Avoid defeat and a we secure a playoffs spot! Even better a win and we might avoid 6th and continue a decent run with some momentum into the playoffs. Of course we all remember the last time we were in this situation and Palace arn't going to roll over and give us the win. So with a lot at stake in the league there is still some undecided business in the Prediction League as well!

The Title
With GLAM and Siam still locked on 36 points so much as a point will see one of them win provided the other doesn't equal that.
Irish is a point behind but has a higher number of Correct Scores, but realistically he needs all three points and to hope that neither of the two above him pick up a CS.
Bluebird Nat is two points behind and needs all three points as well as the others to not pick up anything.
Both GLAM and Irish will pick up Bonus points for predicting in every single game this season.

Relegation
GhostOfNinian is relegated.
H needs a CS to bridge the three point gap between him and safety.
A Correct Score for either Sayer or ccfcremotesupport will secure Div 1 status for next season but a point might well do depending on H's success.
H will pick up Bonus points for predicting in every game this season.

Automatic Promotion
Privatebenjamin has secured promotion to Div 1 next season. A CS will see him secure the title as well.
Dom and Blueforever need a CS to guarentee a promotion slot. Depending on CcfcrtOp result a point could well do and a CS could see either clinch the title depending on Privatebenjamins result.
CcfcrtOp needs a CS and one of Dom or Blueforever not to pick up all three points.
Blueforever has a higher number of CS (6) than his rivals and that may be crucial.

Play-Offs
CcfcrtOp, BluefromBridgeend and The Exile have all secured a playoff spot.
UniBrumBluebird holds the last spot but only by CS's from Sparkey and Blueturk. Depending on other results a point could decide it but a CS will probably seal the deal.
Sparkey will get Bonus Points for predicting all 46 games.

well done blue sheep ....I have got this one down a a draw at 2-2......am i still the highest placed jack or have i slipped down when i went to the states for two months and forgot to predict...

Well done Blue Sheep for all your efforts with the league. Also thanks to Thai and others who helped. It's not easy being a Bluebird supporter as I have learnt over the last 33 years! I thought we would be okay last Saturday and I think Malky did as well by using two substitutes in time added on. However we played better than Leeds and had more chances. So it's another squeaky bum time where we just need a draw to end up in the play-offs so I fancy we'll get just that. 1-1 for me please.

 

Oh God this game is going to be tough, can see nerves coming into it but I think we will pull through by a goal I will go 1-0 Cardiff City please
