Second time this season John ! Both times the max "correct W/D/L" was 4. I don't recall that low a number in the previous seasons I've been involved. Score wise, the 3 to 2 value for correct score possibly disguised the fact in earlier seasons. I'll review when I have a spare weekend Edit: Maybe I should change the "W/D/L" label to "H/D/A" as it's probably a better description ?
Announcement: It's important After much research and deliberation, the management committee ( comprised of Duffens_Briefs and yours truly), WITHOUT D_B's input in this case, inadvertently ratified by John ex-Aberdeen (see "like" in post # 272 above), have revised the definition of the "Correct W/D/L' category of the "Predictions League" (full of fun & tension, expert knowledge of the English Leagues show off thread). It's probably a better description of the category if we call it "Correct H/D/A". A couple of Referenda were contemplated, one being more like a plebiscite, and a General Erection was muted (didn't get enough stimulation unfortunately - support faltered badly). It turns out the decision is an outright dictate. It is a slam-dunk shoe-in if yours truly actually remembers to implement the change. Or if anyone of you foreigners object in time (1:50 a.m Toronto time - i.e. now !) - aka the "No Deal" option. Edit: It was a brief encounter of an affair, which I deny vehemently. Fake muse it is. "W/D/L" OUT ! references: A couple of words once muttered by John Lennon.
