Ironic that I'm posting this thread, and I've made a habit of being too superstitious to make predictions But I honestly think that if we lose or draw today, we're in deep trouble... or, I should say deeper trouble than we already are Will be there... PUP!
It's the sort of game we both need to - and SHOULD win. But given our terrible form at present, I would look upon a point with as much relief as disappointment.
2-1. We need to win of course, but it's too early to panic just yet. I would be happy with a point just to buck the trend.
Again leaving a match a bit disappointed. Derby are by far the worst side I have seen this year and should have been beaten with ease. A point is not the end if the world but really hoof ball derby could have been torn apart with a bit of class rather than just hoofing it back!
At least we have stopped the run of defeats though, so maybe a turning point today. Derby must feel gutted after that and we could pass them on the way up after this!
That's what I like to hear! A bit of optimism on these boards. You could indeed "pass them on the way up". It's a thought not lost on Saints fans, you know.
