Who will win the following matches? Southend v Wycombe Preston v Swindon Middlesbrough v Norwich Barcelona v Juventus Dnipro v Sevilla 5 points for correct winner of each match An extra 10 points for correct score at full-time (after extra time but before penalty shootout) So if you think Southend will win on penalties after a 1-1 draw, you can write Southend 1P Wycombe 1. I hope that makes sense. The winner(s) gets to choose which charity my £50 donation will go to. Good luck.
Southend 1 v Wycombe 3 Preston 2 v Swindon 0 Middlesbrough 1 v Norwich 2 Barcelona 3 v Juventus 0 Dnipro 0 v Sevilla 2
Southend 1 v Wycombe 1 (Wycombe on pens) Preston 3 v Swindon 1 Middlesbrough 0 v Norwich 1 Barcelona 1 v Juventus 1 (barca on pens) Dnipro 1 v Sevilla 2
Lovely idea Ponders. If i win I'll be donating to Protect The Foxes. 2-3 2-2 (Swindon Pens) 3-1 3-4 1-3
Can I also point out that I think it's a wonderful gesture from Ponders. And I know you're not a betting man, but the odds on some of these predictions are unbelievable. I might put a £1 on each.
Cheers, SuperC. You may remember I did a similar thing last year with Charlton's run-in. Dick P won and a donation went to a charity that was particularly pertinent at that time. I'm not a betting man, but let me know how you get on. We may have some skilled tipsters in our midst...
Southend 0 v Wycombe 2 Preston 2 v Swindon 2 - swindon pens Middlesbrough 2 v Norwich 1 Barcelona 2 v Juventus 0 Dnipro 1 v Sevilla 4
SuperC - 10 points - even though you got the outright winner wrong, you correctly predicted the final score! Forest - 5 points Dick - 5 points Royston - 5 points Check out the OP: I mentioned Southend to win on penalties after a 1-1 draw. I would have had 15 points! I'm not in the competition, but I'll predict a 2-1 win for Swindon against Preston.
If we end up with a tie, I will add the England v Ireland friendly as a sudden death prediction. An outright winner would be better, methinks.
