I've got to say that so far this tour seems to have been a brilliant success. On the playing side both teams have given us good workouts in both games, but we've still won and played some decent stuff, in testing conditions which will only help our fitness, as well as team bonding.
From the commercial side it could potentially be fantastic. Both sets of opposition fans seem really impressed with our style of play and how well both our fans and the club have come across to them, based on what's been said on social media. We also seem to have generated a bit of a buzz in the local mainstream media in both cities. All in all it gives us a great chance to build on our profile (San Antonio is the 7th biggest city in America and one of the fastest growing) and hopefully increase our commercial revenue. We certainly seem to have been smart enough not just to roll up and play a match, but to actually engage with people out there (open training sessions, getting pictures with the the San Antonio Spurs mascot, a talk in with supporters in Albuquerque). God, this is a huge change to what we did before, so I think right now we should give whoever organised this a big bit of credit.
