It's greedy from that angle on his right foot when he had an option in the middle.

On his left, I wouldn't mind him shooting from there obviously from the other side).

Love that bit of play, quick counter, Sturridge laying in Hendo, Markovic taking over and so nearly got it back through to Hendo. Looking forward to quick counter attacks like that this season!

It would have been a Suarez's stronger foot. Had it been Suarez on the opposite side, he'd have looked for the pass despite Luis being better on his weaker foot than Danny! It's about knowing your own strengths and weaknesses.

Can and Markovic <applause>

If Dave isn't excited by them two then I'm not sure what he really wants!

Shame couldn't just finish that move off, but did well to get into the position nipping through 2 players.
 
Good tracking back from Markovic as well.

Enrique did well to get back, but was poor initial positioning from him by not being goal side.
 
I really like the look of Can (not in a gay way). Thought he'd be one for the future and get a few games like Alberto but not much, but he's making a case for himself to be playing most weeks on his pre-season form.

He's looking good but don't speak to soon, Voronin looked a world beater for us in two pre-seasons <laugh>




Is it just me or are we playing really deep? More like a 451 system?
