What a superb place to take the squad; I hope they have a great experience and also that it helps the local population, young and old to advance their quality of life.
Will it show our players that their lifestyle is positively wonderful compared with Botswana and that they should be so grateful for what they have here.

Interesting. Should be a great experience for our boys. Township Rollers? About the same standard as league 1 football.

Thanks Cliftonville. I wasn't trying to imply that Botswana is a poverty stricken nation as I really know hardly anything about the country at all.
I just made what I thought to be a reasonable assumption that there will be rich and poor citizens there and the poorer members of society will be more in number and more visible than in a European city. And wondered what effect this may have on members of the BCFC party.

By African standards its stable, peaceful and civilised. I have strange memory of the capital ... Woolworths!

Travelled through neighbouring Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe & Zambia. Destinations there I would not dream of sending a football team, and places which are genuinely dangerous as well as corrupt.

To be honest ive never even heard of it. It should give some of our players a eye opener to how lucky they are though.
