    ... anyone?

    There's a few rumours that this might happen which would suit me fine, I could get excited about that.

    I'd much prefer it to Portugal or Spain tbh, still have friends there and speak fluent Italian if I drink enough.

    I think it would be better, for the player's partners as well ... in my opinion.

    We'd have to avoid Milan though, Mackems aren't allowed there apparently <laugh>

    I've been to Milan and bar the main street didn't think much of it.

    Have seen Portugal also mentioned.

    In my opinion it's much more 'abroad' than Spain or Portugal ...

    ... I love the place and get on great with Italians.

    Wonder if they fancy me rocking up to see them for first time in 20 years with 3-4 other Mackems in tow <laugh>

    My family moved here from Italy in 1908. They were the first boots on the ground in this country for us. Never been to Italy but a few years ago, I did start doing my family tree and traced it back over there.

    Definitely a trip I’d be interested in.

    Can we have this 19th of July and around Lake Garda. That would fit in nicely with my planned holidays. Not sure the Mrs would be very happy :)

    Visited Naples a few times and was there in 2023 for their title winning celebrations, love the place. Not sure I could swing another getaway this year so I'd be gutted if it is Italy <laugh>

    Naples is one of the dirtiest, scariest: busiest….. and most incredible places I have ever been.

    Amazing place, amazing people and vibrancy. I also had a Ravioli there in a small family ran place with just 2 tables that I swear was so good it made me a better person <laugh>

    I once had a pizza at a similar tiny place, I was alone and had to join a large round table with a family and ended up watching the Italian equivalent of deal or no deal with them while we ate, class!

    Love that mate. All the best scran I’ve had in Italy has been in small, family ran places. Generations of them shouting at each other while they cook and serve.
