Not all rosey at the Mem then captain, does Baldvinsson know something that you don't, maybe he doesn't want to play in a struggling team. Anyway nice to see you back Captain, lets hope for plenty of good banter this season, promotion for you, doubt it, relegation for you, doubt it, could be a boring season then.

I was the same, about to say something then realised. Reading his tweets obvious that the players got on well, as said you have time to sort out replacement. But like you I'm confused about the transfer money. Do players come with a sort of guarantee?
no idea ROD. i dont know if he returned to old club and money repaid back and got refund. dont know if he is without a club and just terminated contract and lost our money. and our OS still says nothing about the whole thing! instead it has a thread for the starting line up vs coventry but when you open it it is shows nothing! and there is a thread from mcghee after the coventry game which has info but nothing about baldvinsson leaving. he didnt play yesterday so obviously mcghee and the club knew so why no official word from the club instead hearing it from twitter. for sorry for the guy in a way and looks like the players made him feel at home and got along well. just wasnt to be. now he are screwed for the start of the seson now. 5 players needed now that half of the outfield starting 11. they all got to come in and quick and get fit and gel quick. otherwise we could have another buckle type of start!
Don't look to the OS for info. It's a bluddy shambles. If Baldviinnson feels the way he apparently does it's best for him and the club to go. I don't go along with all the MM knows what he's doing, just trust him stuff. He did a great job at the end of last season and got us back on an even keel. However I'm not inspired by the pre-season signings or form. He's signed some good youngsters for the future but I don't think we've yet got the experience or quality for a promotion campaign.
2nd. 5 signings needed. turner will be a good signing in goal. broghammer has apparently signed but just waiting for international clearance. means 3 more signings needed..... constable may be one of the signings. if he dont sign watch him score 3 against us next weekend. if he signs for us watch him break his leg next weekend! cd to replace baldvinsson. gill is injury prone and unfit and we have no experienced players in cm. clucas/norburn/brown/lund are not experienced players. rather have stanley back which means i must be worried to want him back so we need a solid cm. even that is not enough to challenge this season. i can see a hell of a lot of angry gasheads around xmas time if we are nowhere near play offs. i do have faith in mcghee but its really being put to the test now. results dont bother me in the slightest at pre season but the fitness and performances does. i honestly dont think mcghee has a clue what his starting 11 is for oxford yet!
I suppose you have a insurance policy for these things, it would be stupid in these days not to take policys out. Would not be surprised if it includes stuff like not for filling contract due to stuff like this.
but if he is clubless then does that mean his former club loses the money back to us and the player as well?? lol i know you guys been through this with coppell but its totally different really. he spent a bit of your money and signed crap players (hunt for example) on high wages. i see our player leaving more on the same lines as the eygptian striker emad meteb who joined you but left straight away. i appreciate though that he left due playing for his former club after joining you wasnt it??

Apparentely Constable will not be playing against us unless we do not agree to sign him. We have some funds avaliable its just down to agreeing a fair market value.Whatever that amount is? If not you could be right CJ with a defence looking short on fitness and quality he would enjoy the chance to torment us by scoring a few.
