Starting 11, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Fernandez, Kingsley, Taylor, Cork, Shelvey, Grimes, Routledge, Emnes, Eder.

Have to say Eder doesn't like to move to much.

Half time, 1 up, a little sloppy at the back and could have had a couple more if finishing a bit better. Not to bad for a pre-season friendly.

Yep - Vickers was given a run out in goals and he pulled off a cracking save.

Wonder if he was recommended to us by Roberts or Fabianski?

Has to be, looked at his twitter and said, cant wait for the new challenge after 12 years at Arsenal. Maybe we have got a good keeper from them, now that would be a rarity.

Garry Monk was not a happy man at the end of the game and described his team's performance as poor.

Despite that comment though he was not downbeat and seems to be happy with the way that pre-season is panning out as he brings his side back to Wales for next week's friendlies against Reading and Nottingham Forest.

Goals from Jack Cork and Bafetimbi Gomis earned the Swans a 2-1 win against their German opponents but Monk believes that his side did not reach the performance levels they showed on Wednesday when they drew with Champions League qualifiers Borussia Monchengladbach.

Speaking after the game, the Swans boss said “We were pretty poor to be honest with you. We were much, much better on Wednesday against Borussia Monchengladbach if I am honest.

“But I do not want to knock the players, they have had a hard couple of weeks in real punishing heat, because even in Swansea we were in the middle of a brief heatwave.

“We will always take a positive result but I cannot help but be disappointed in terms of the standards I set.

“But they have all had minutes on the pitch and, at this stage, it is not all about performances. That sharpness will come over the next few weeks.

“It has been tough for them but I am happy with them and they will only get better.”
