Seems a few on here are worried cos of our current pre-season results (and performances).

Dick has already stated that fitness is more important than form at this stage, and I agree as results in pre-season have no bearing on league results whatsoever. Plus, even though I though PDC was a nutter, one thing he did right, imo, was get the players fitter than they ever had been, and that seemed to drop off while Poyet was manager. So if Dick want to get the players as physically fit as possible, he wont get any arguments from me.

If you look at our pre-season results in 2014, we won the majority of our games(lost one, drew one, won six), arguably against better opposition than this pre-season, and went on to have a crap season.
This pre-season we are struggling to get positive results, but as long as this season doesnt end up like last one, I couldnt care less.

I agree, pre season results are pretty much irrelevant, it's all been about fitness to this point which is how it should be, hopefully we'll see the starting 11 start to take shape over the last 2 games which should result in us playing a bit better (I still don't think performances matter in these games to be honest). I don't think a pre season tour where a handful of players have had to be left out has been particularly helpful like but I'm sure the club must have benefited from it in some way.
