The time has come to restart this old chestnut. In the build up to the Red Red Robin for the team run out what music do you want to hear on Saturday. Opera and the classics is all very well but it doesn't always stir the sole of the Charlton fan however dramatic it can be. It needs to be relevant to us and to give the opposition something to think about. I remember fondly the regular use of the Skids "Into the Valley" segueing into the Clash and "London Calling" when we played teams from outside the capital.

Any thoughts for Saturday?

Maybe Kasabaian and "Underdogs" might be appropriate

Would it be too early for ?

Talking about clothes, this was my attire for the Prem relegation season <ok> bit cold in Jan and Feb so wouldn't recommend it :(

With you entirely on Into the Valley & London Calling, quite like Oh Verona fro Romeo & Juliet (played during This is The Valley film) and also used to like Jump Around by house of Pain at start of second half.
How about this:
Pre match: Valley Floyd Road- 3 Blokes
Oh Verona
London Calling-the Clash
Into The Valley-Skids
Half Time: I gotta feeling-Black eyed peas
Jump around- House of Pain
Post Match: Tom Hark- The Piranas

There was something played today MT, just before "Into the Valley" was another classical piece but could barely hear it.

They really need to sort their timing out though - the players are coming out to the Red Red Robin whilst the Into the Valley video is only halfway through and the two dont really go together

There was a piece of classical music that almost had a sci-fi feel to it. Not really appropriate and not uplifting in my opinion. Probably something that would be better suited to the cinema pre-film for some arty flick.

Yeah sorry about that, it was a poor choice!

Regarding the timings, it's very hard to get it right! But we do try.
