Just been on the Hull board and they reckon the Wetherspoons near the train station is a decent 'away pub'. I'll be in there for a swift one before the game I reckon.
Not wishing to put a damper on your Hull trip, but I would recommend your avoid the city centre. I am not sure that the W/spoons you refer to near the station allows in away fans. But I could be wrong. The Brickmakers on Walton street just across the road from the stadium welcomes away fans. Its okay in there. Parkers on the corner of Walton Street and Anlaby Road is okay, nothing special. Plastic glasses. Avenue on Chants Ave is okay as is The Zoo on the corner of Princess Avenue and Spring Bank. There are some great pubs in the Old Town, especially The Old White Hart on Whitefrigate. To get to the KC walk back up Whitefrigate to the entrance to the Princess Quay shopping centre and take the No 2 bus to the KC. There be loads of fans in that area so it shouldn't be a problem. Be warned there are road works on the bridge near to the stadium so give yourself at least 45 minutes to get from town to the stadium if in car or on public transport. If anything it might be quicker walking from city centre. Enjoy your trip...But not that much..
