Is there anything of particular note in there Swordsie? My streaming capacity meant that I only managed to watch the Les Ferdinand evening and the Slade tribute last night. Considering I do IT (of sorts) I must admit to being an incompetent Luddite (Excel and finance systems excepted).
Nothing much. Everton are one of the best clubs in the league. Caulker fell over an banged his head - don't ask Harry how he managed it. Hasn't been talking to either Keane or Defoe. (But both are triffic players.) Form is good and getting better, but we do need to work out how to get points away from home.
I get the feeling that you could swap this for any of the last few ones and nobody would notice. Alarm goes off, Sonny and Cher start singing on the radio....
So you're an old school IT guy (like me) - I enjoyed watching the 1 hour of Les Ferdinand last night.
Excellent - shall we form a union? I'm more system support dragged to into IT kicking and screaming (about 5 months ago) and end up blagging my way through google searches of IT forums!
I have 25 years of working as an application development & support analyst under my belt, where we encounter a good number of PEBCAK cases (Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard). Not a bad line of work - when programs & services are cut, generally IT survives!
That's the one I'm used to. I told a new starter to press ctrl + alt + del a couple of weeks ago and watched on while they went for ctrl + alt gr + backspace. I pretty much pushed them out the way, finished my bit and ran off saying their teammates are better equipped for training. That probably says more about my lack of patience though.
