Now seeing as I'm as guilty as anyone for lambasting officials I felt I should probably go the other way and praise one. Last night Chris Foy was excellent. He let the game flow, ignored any histrionics, allowed the game to breathe and was sensible in his decision making - what a refreshing change! Ok, he didn't exactly have any big calls to make but I actually found myself trusting him. Fair play to Sunderland too, which of course helped him, but still, definitely the best referee we have had in these parts for many a year, so well done Mr Foy. Can we have you every week please?!
