    dunno how this will work, cos Gus has always said that he wants to control ALL aspects of management..
    Slumberland has a director of football.

    This would be a bad move for Sunderland. Poyet has no experience managing in the prem and will probably fall out over transfer budget.

    The Brighton fans down here are pretty non-plussed about Poyet. Never really did enough at Brighton despite having lots of quality players.

    Hope he gets the job at Sunderland: it will help them get relegated.

    The word is that Di Canio lost the dressing room when he started to blame the players.
    When Brighton failed to get into the play-off final didn't Poyet just blame the players, something along the lines of the Club and Players weren't big/good enough for him.

    Should be interesting........
