Star and others beginning to report hes gone bye-byes Could this be bad news for us? http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/430989/Sunderland-SACK-boss-Gus-Poyet
Its bad news for us but I can't bring myself not to be happy that the odious little rat is out of work
Nothing's changed, we still need to do the work ourselves, we could never rely on other teams. Remember last season, Sun'lan went on an amazing run to finish comfortably in mid table, they got some great results against the odds & that's what we're going to have to do.
Well not really. If we beat Burnley, Palace and Swansea - not massively against the odds - then we'll be safe. It's not a huge ask, Sunlan last season was a huge ask. If it comes down to us vs them for the drop I wonder what Phil Buckingham will think. Obviously he'd want Sunlan to stay up but surely for his job he'd rather go to The Emirates, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge et al rather than The Valley, New York Stadium or County Ground.
There are other teams in the equasion. I'd snap your hand off for 17th at the minute. I know our matches are tough, but it's not unfeasible that we can't get a few wins to stay up on our own merit. I hope anyway. Plus, they have to make the points up on us.
Oh ****e it makes our draw against them look even worse than at the time Between us and Burnley then that's an even bigger game now

Always makes me think of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erven_Warnink_BV_v_J_Townend_&_Sons_(Hull)_Ltd
Really think that if we are relying on other teams to screw up so that we stay up, then were in trouble big time, supporting city always been a roller coaster of a ride, and I for one think will make it, last year Sunderland had a **** run in if memory serve's me right, and they made it, we are a better team then them and I've a feeling that the points will come from were we least expect them( hopefully starting Sunday).
