http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ells-job-line-Charlton-fallout-new-owner.html No quotes or much substance, but I guess it's pretty obvious that things aren't right.
Daily Mail article without substance shock! Journalists accused of making up storie while sat in the pub!! I'll worry about this one when Cawley reports it.
You don't need to be Einstein though to see where all of this is heading No new contract on the table for Powell, and now having playing bought and sold without any choice. His departure is six months overdue IMO, but it is looking as if it will be messy. As I speak, all over the suburbs of Kent, cardigans and Thermos flasks are being dusted off for the Uprising when Sir Chris goes. Stand by for the Bovril Riots
Meh, we'll get the Standard Liege u21 boss to replace Powell when he resigns over Yann being sold over his head
Daily Malice get a number of their stories from Forums like ours! This probably came from an Airman post
Love what powell has done on a few grains of rice, cringe at the thought of what unemployed manager we may bring in next.
Is CP going to survive this latest defeat? I don't know, but I do know he has been royally shafted over the last weeks, and I actually feel very sorry for him. He nearly got it right today, but football does not record 'nearly and almost' as points. I feel a bit heartbroken this evening.
I'm at the 'acceptance' stage of grief now, having been slowly getting used to the decline all season. I've wanted Powell out for a fair while for plenty of correct reasons - and have never been convinced he knows what he's doing; I think I was the first one who wanted him out during his first few games (but that's because I was so pro-Parky). Now would be an ideal time for him to resign before he is pushed - from the outside his stock wouldn't suffer in the slightest.
