You don't need to be Einstein though to see where all of this is heading <sorry>

No new contract on the table for Powell, and now having playing bought and sold without any choice.

His departure is six months overdue IMO, but it is looking as if it will be messy.

As I speak, all over the suburbs of Kent, cardigans and Thermos flasks are being dusted off for the Uprising when Sir Chris goes.

Stand by for the Bovril Riots <cheers>

6 months overdue? Bit unfair considering at that time we had just finished 9th in the league.

Think of Southampton- do you hear anyone calling for Nigel Adkins' return?

Love what powell has done on a few grains of rice, cringe at the thought of what unemployed manager we may bring in next.

He's said he's had talks about his contract, so I'm guessing, any delay is down to personal terms...

Is CP going to survive this latest defeat? I don't know, but I do know he has been royally shafted over the last weeks, and I actually feel very sorry for him.

He nearly got it right today, but football does not record 'nearly and almost' as points.

I feel a bit heartbroken this evening.

I'm at the 'acceptance' stage of grief now, having been slowly getting used to the decline all season.

I've wanted Powell out for a fair while for plenty of correct reasons - and have never been convinced he knows what he's doing; I think I was the first one who wanted him out during his first few games (but that's because I was so pro-Parky).

Now would be an ideal time for him to resign before he is pushed - from the outside his stock wouldn't suffer in the slightest.
