Solly was winning it by a country mile from Kermo in second, also by a country mile according to the sheets I saw with all the ticks on them before the game. There is however, a huge cloud over the competition. I have been lying awake all night contemplating whether to confess. My conscience will give me no rest. I have to admit it. I voted twice - once by the superstore and again in the East stand. There. I've said it. A huge weight has been lifted. Is the competition now null and void? My mate voted twice too (for Wiggins). Mind you I saw a very small couple voting at every teller. Could they have been Mr and Mrs Solly I think we should be told. It is an odd way of collecting votes. Shouldn't this be season ticket holders only to ensure a fair competition.
I will be voting again at the Wycombe game I'm not saying who I voted for yesterday but some people thought he was poor (3 - disinterested?) yesterday but he will always be better than Shaun!

Listening to the 5-live commentary last night they were going overboard about the wing play of Fulham's wide left player Frei. Well anyone who was at the Fulham cup-tie knows that Solly had him in his pocket from the word go. In the second half Frei just gave up, and whenever he was confronted by Solly he just passed the ball backwards. Not only better than John Terry, but better than the Chelsea full-backs as well.
Funny, yesterday, on the commentary, they didnt mention Solly THAT much - but raved about Kermy - then again, he is more in the limelight, what with getting himself clobbered every game.

There are 5 players who make a genuine case, Solly, Morro, Wiggins, BWP and Kermit. Last year there were none and Semedo only won because he hates Millwall. If I remember rightly didn't we have a poll at the beginning of the season and most of us expected Green to be POTY?
