    Who’d have thought,
    With away form so ****ty,
    The Rs won’t be caught,
If they get something at City.

    But let’s ready our thanks,
For a win for the Potters,
As we sit amongst the Mancs,
    And they despatch the Trotters!

    A point at the Eti,
Would be like winning the cup,
    Throw ticker-tape and confetti,
    The Rs are staying up!

[I need to get out more]

We were as good as relegated about an hour a
go but I still think its 50/50 between us and Bolton next weekend. At least we have a chance

Blackburn can still finish on 37 points.

I would say more like 65/35 in our favour. We have the points in the bag, so Bolton are under pressure to get the win and have to rely on us getting nought at Man City. Must say though that I am a little bit uneasy as Boton stuffed them 5-0 last November. Hopefully Stoke will be out for revenge. I'll take a draw.

But let's not forget that in the previous pressure game between the two, last season's Cup semi final Stoke thrashed Bolton 5-0. If I were a Bolton fan or player, my confidence would have gone right out of the window by being pegged back after a 2 goal lead at home and to hear at more or less the same time that their nearest rivals had scored a potential winner with minutes of stoppage time left. They were woeful against Spurs. They don't seem to have the bottle for the fight.

Uber. About the poem. Err... prefer your prose - even when you're disputing my unsound judgements!

3 minutes that could define the season

    http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/spor...minute_of_how_the_relegation_fortunes_swung/?

For once it went our way.

Not sure if the other Rs fans in Australa heard the roar from melbourne? Even my chelski supporting son got excited and joined in the yelling. Woke the wife, the dog and probably a few neighbours.

Bring on next week, survival and renewed hope. I know we are not there yet, but feeling far more positive than at 12.45am (Australian East Time)

I saw bolton-wba match and bolton get their penalty& first goal from very mix up situation. Their second was very fluky one and it came from petrovs miss pass which ridgewell cleared but it bounced from another wba player past freezed foster. If we only could had that kind of luck this season. After that however, wba started to press harder and bolton cracked like a bisquit. Their both goals were well earned and after the match bolton should be pleased with the point .Which they obviously didnt. Bolton should be play a lot better if they want to beat stoke away. Stoke for sure wants to win their last home match.

If Stoke play with as much determination as they did today then Bolton will struggle. Stoke are much worse away and their defence won't be bossed by Davies (they handled Zamora pretty well).

I've run out of finger nails so fully expect to be chewing my way up to my upper arms before this is through.
