So the transfer ban has been postponed and we now have 5 weeks to build a squad that can compete for 2 seasons. A few names being linked with us.

Fran Sandaza - Can't see this happening
Dean Shiels - Would be a great addition
Gary Kenneth - Don't rate the fella
Ian Black - Would work well with Jig in midfield but not a fan of the fella
Craig Beattie - Worth another go?
    Steve Jennings - Meh
    Scott Robertson - Meh
    Robbie Neilson - Meh
    Gary Teale - Naaaa

They'd all be head and shoulders above the level you need to win division 3 though! What would you prefer though, sign them to get you up and then dump them as top old/to ****e for the spl or buy younger untried players who may be good enough now but also be good enough to stay with you through to the spl??

All of them would do a job in the 3rd.

If Rangers can offer the salaries they would expect is another matter.

The only we we'd attract higher quality players are if they were fans of the club and their best years are behind them, like Lee McCulloch.

In which case, Gary Teale and Robbie Neilson.

But it will all come down to money.

We need to find a good mix. Would like to see the younger lads getting a chance rather than the like of Garry Kenneth.

They also need to be good enough to win SFL2 considering the 1 year signing ban.

Guess it have to be a cause of staggered contratcs like promotion wage increase %s and bonuses...

I think this is an oppurtunity for Rangers to get a core of a team built up of young scottish players plus some experienced pros.
