    Afternoon all,

Since the 3 big managers we are being linked with (Mourinho, Klopp and Moyes) all have players in their current teams that we've previously been linked with - who would be your favourite bearing in mind the personnel they could bring with them?

Mourinho - Modric, C.Ronaldo, Ramos/Varane (would be nice)

    Klopp - Lewandowski, Hummels, Bender

    Moyes - Felliani, Baines

Personally, I don't think we'd get Felliani without Moyes but I'm not sure he's the right man for the job yet.

Mourinho - I think it could be too late to move for him but he certainly has the right credentials for the job. Whether he's pi55ed off enough of the Madrid players that none would think about coming with him is another thing.

    What do you think?

on a serious note, no laughing at moyes... you need to be announcing mourinho as a done deal.. its the sort of thing i expect. I dearly hope ambramovich crapped himself this morning and has doubled his offer to maureen.

I actually think the way utd run things they will have tied up someone and will announce it after ferguson's last game.

It'd still be funny to see moyes take it on.... enjoy.

Wouldn't be surprised tbh - the speed with which the position changed from SAF's comments this weekend saying he was planning for the summer to him retiring three days later implies that something has changed and we decided to move sharpish.

Could well be that Klopp or Moyes started looking at other clubs and SAF decided to retire now to make sure we got our man, or the breakdown in negotiations between Mourinho and Chelsea meant we could swoop and grab him out from under their noses. Wouldn't be surprised if our 14:30 announcement was us announcing the name of our new manager.

If Moyes did sign and then bring Fellani and Baines that would be a good haul for you. Yes there would be question marks against Moyes but those 2 signings fit you lot well.

Mate I've been saying for the last 6month Fellaini for Utd, just wasn't expecting his manager to tag along for the ride!

Baines in for Evra is also a good signing.

I take that on board but Evra probably had his best season, saying that a defender who score what seems like 40 goals a season with 300 assists aint bad <laugh>

I think that you would do well to cash in on Evra now if you get a ready replacement like Baines in.

  18. The rumours of "Ronaldo back to United" have been running consistently for several weeks, ever since the rumours of "Mourhino back to England" started, in fact.

    Coincidence?

If you knew anything about Spanish football, you would know that Casillas and Ramos had major bust-ups with Mourinho.

In addition, Sergio Ramos is their best defender, so there is no chance of Madrid letting him go for anything under £30m. He is far better than anything you currently have though...except perhaps Vidic

    Man Utd - Moyes
    Chelsea - Mourinho

Advantage Chelsea next season without a doubt. Ferguson is without a doubt the greatest PL manager (his achievements will never be repeated in what is now a more competitive era with Chelsea and Man City), but Mourinho is the special one.
