    Hearing quite a bit about us being in for Tyrone Mings and Delli Alli http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...n-Arsenal-race-sign-Tyrone-Mings-Ipswich.html and http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport...bid-for-talented-teenager-dele-alli-1-7067878

    Anyone have any idea about either of them? Both are young (21 Mings and 18 Alli) so would not need registering as such but would they add to the squad? would they go with Beardo in the development squad? Would it be better to loan them back to MK Dons and Ipswich respectivley?

    Would love both. By all accounts Arsenal have long shown interest in Mings. I tell you what though, he is a level headed guy. I watched an interview with him, he just had this presence about him. Looked the sort who will go right to the top.

    Don't see Mings leaving Ipswich, they are potentially on the brink of promotion to the Premier League. Robinson reckons the deal for Ali is likely.

    I would genuinely surprised if we added two lads like these two. I just couldn't see it happening. Can we have Will Hughes too? (had to get it in)

    These are the sort of signings we should be looking to make. If we did so it could be mistaken as a sign of rekindling ambition, however with MA it would probably just signify that he is indulging in some higher stakes gambling for a potentially greater reward. No doubt he's gotten himself all juicy seeing how much Southampton have managed to rake in on young British players such as Chambers and Shaw.

    I can see us snatching some youth nobody from MK Dons. That's what we're trying to do, buy them cheap and useless to the first team, and flog them when they have a few good games.


    Nobody to get excited about is coming, let's leave it at that <laugh>

    Quite honestly, I'm on the actual brink of not giving two ****s about watching my team play, which is just sad. I care so little, that mostly I just chat on here for the craic now <laugh>

    Think we all lose faith in the club right now. Personally wanted Pardew gone BUT I've lost more faith since he left then I ever did while he was here.

    He was for a while but now back. Been playing in the U21s and I think he made the bench for the first team recently?

    Saw him play at Gateshead in pre-season and the whole Newcastle team that night were shocking.

    Both would be good signings and the only reason Ashley would sanction these transfers is that both are young with superb potential and great sell on value for the future, nothing to do with proving the squad or team as pet the norm
