I'd edit the Spurf entry or look for somewhere else to post <whistle>

Spurf is that Jack Docherty 1980s Scottish character who hated the English
(one of his ideas was a film script where a killer cyborg is sent from the future
back to 1966 to kill Geoff Hurst) .

Hi comrades,
Very busy here in rural Suffolk. Miss you all as life on a tractor takes up so much time .
Anyway flying the flag for English tourism.

Whats with the avitar Sid? Not a nice man that Duke (Ras)Tafari Makonnen Woldemikael chap you know. One of the worst mass murderers this world has known. Naturally being a friend of the UK and US he could get away with what ever he wanted but one day history will bring him to account. On the same level as Assad in my book.

Apart from not being Scottish then probably very near.

Sorry my old mate , a nice rasta bloke pal of mine Natty Roots uses it for his rocksteady chimney sweep business . Never realised it had any depth . Anyway except my apologies .

Chin up
Sid

<applause> you've made funnier jokes but that is one of the cleverest aimed at a Swan.
One of my kids in class told me he was going to eat a five pounds note that he brought in for a school trip. I told him it was fine...as long as it was his dinner money. It was like tumble weed <laugh>
The teacher tried to explain it and the little pyscho said "I get the joke but it was ****ing **** miss"
<laugh>
He then said "sorry sir, didn't mean to swear, but you got to admit, it was ****!"
<laugh>
And people wonder why I love my job
