Given that the lad was bought for his potential and not for 'immediate use' this appears more than a little strange. If Steve Clarke was convinced that he did not have the capability then I'm sure that he would not have figured in as many games as he has. It is true that he still has a lot of development to do, as does Carroll, but it would be far too soon to make this sort of decision. There are bound to be a lot of rumours regarding the 2 of them. All the poster has actually done is to confirm that his 'sources' have confirmed that rumours exist - that is a very long way from confirmation that "the powers that be" agree with the rumours.
OK, you are right, just wondered if you had heard anything but like you say, rumours and more rumours
We wouldn't release him, we'd probably loan him out at this stage... Anyway hendo has been decent so far this season, not great but no better or worse then anyone else in or midfield
Good grief, what bollocks. We bought him for the potential he has not what he can currently do on the pitch. Why would we sell him now at a loss, let alone RELEASE him?? There are quite a few players in the firing line before Henderson even comes close to the microscope
Just makes no sense, why buy a player for 16mil£ and then release him what 2 months later No utter rubbish Lazy journo or gossip
He's been someone who has impressed me, good player and looks full of potential. He is not ready to start every game but he is one of the signings that works really hard and seems to realise the opportunity that he has been given.
utter bull.... 1. its not what kenny would do. 2. shelvey is doing well at blackpool but a loan for henderson would seem moot. 3. considering where it was originally posted i think is a sad effort
