After the highs of last week with all the speculation and repeated thrashing of the refresh button waiting to see who was the latest name we were linked with this week is turning out to be a real drag. It's like someone has given us the bottle of happy pills and then taken them away, a real comedown. To make it worse the internationals have been pretty abysmal and I'm itching to see our new-look team getting stuck in. The problem is we have to wait till Monday whilst all the others steal a march on us, our bonus is a bit more time to work the team together. I'm just having difficulty waiting, roll on Monday...
You and me both, Sooper! Monday can't come too soon. It's gonna be fascinating, and a little weird, to see 11 hoops on the pitch, when I'm only really familiar with 2, perhaps 3, of them.
I think it's gonna be a fantastic atmosphere, the Toon always have a good turnout and the place should really be rocking...
This season seems to be all about just hanging around waiting for something to happen;where have all the ITK's gone? (not that I really miss them!)
