I have seen Molla Wague, 25, CB, (Udinese) linked to us. Southampton are also thought to be after him.
http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/hernanes-52435 Will be good if he can get here by lunch today...
"Marc Wilmotts (Belgium manager) was seen at the game with Gino today" - say a few people from other sites. Any truth in this?
Apparently its from a site known for making things up but if he was at the game then maybe there is some truth. TBH He didn't exactly set the world alight with Belgium - look how Wales outclassed them.
What a strange tale this is. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2017/01/adalberto-penaranda-close-to-agreeing-la-liga-return/
There was a previous rumour on a Penaranda Facebook fan page that suggested he was leaving Italy - being loaned to Man Utd... Apart from finding that ludicrous - he can't get a work permit to even play for us - it did make me wonder about the rules regarding the number of clubs a player can play for in the same season. Anyone any ideas?
I did realise that - was just wondering how many times he could be moved around Europe to gain the necessary experience.
I think the suggestion with Peneranda is that if he goes back to Spain for the rest of the season, he can gain Spanish residency, making it easier to come play for us... if that is the case, then not sure why he just didn't stay at Granada.
Yes, apparently he needs another year in Spain for residency. Had Udinese worked out he may well have passed a test for a work permit based on Serie A and international caps. I still don't see him coming to us until he is stronger if at all. Maybe 2018, who knows.
