Another hugely disappointing game for us. This time, no complaints from me about the refereeing. Dowd had absolutely no choice but to give Diakite a second yellow and once again leave us with a mountain to climb. I think that does go down as one of the best refereeing performance at LR this season

SWP at last took people on and it seemed to work. However he missed again when frankly it would have been easier to score. He should have played the ball to Jamie Mackie once he had drawn Schwarzer to him. I doubt whether Jamie would have put it wide. Barton still cannot make passes accurately enough to ensure that we can retain possession and create chances. He has no problem creating them for the opposition. I hope Taiwo is not going to be out for some time because he clearly seems to have pulled something. Zamora was totally ineffectual up front. Even when he had Mackie up front with him in the second half. The only time we carved them open in the second half it was because of Taarabt's delightful pass. Do we know when Helguson is likely to be fit? AT looked better and better as the game went on but Barton is simply not in the same league as him. His reading of the game and passing of the ball is quite simply very poor.

All in all, I did not see anything which leads me to change my opinion that we are now as good as down and need to be concentrating on preparing for next season.

There is an awful lot of dead weight in the squad. Most of it bought this season. Is it too much to hope that we bought them with an option of returning them where they came from?

The Offish has been drumming into us for the past two weeks what a good team building session the boys have had over the last two weeks.
The press keeps on telling us how Sparky instils discipline into his sides and how he has been a good move for us. What was all that about when he refused to shake Jol's hand at the end? Will his cards be marked by Tony Fernandes? I doubt it somehow. One win out of 6 against the deadmen and also rans of this league. Does anyone still believe that we would have failed to do at least as well if not much better under Warnock? He may not know how to slow down an attack while we pass it endlessly sideways as though possession was all that mattered, but by god he could instil some passion into our players. I doubt whether Wolves' comeback at Newcastle had anything to do with discipline or organisation as opposed to fighting spirit. Oh yes. I forgot. We would never have managed to get our new players if it had not been for Sparky.

Sums it up pretty perfectly. 50% of the team you would be looking to sell for glue and of those 75% were bought this season. Hughes will gone by the end of the season. He was bought in to bring stability and keep us up but quite frankly the opposite has occured. And now at a time when we need a man motivator as a manager, we instead have a tactician who stands on the sideline emotionless. However the saddest thing of all, is to see how well Swansea and Norwich have managed this season, when they had worse squads in the championship. But as per usual with Rangers, we asset-stripped pretty much anyone who actually cared about the club or had fighting spirit, in favour of big name players who just seem to view this as a pay packet and a step up to bigger things. Oh how fun it will be to watch Barton and SWP amongst others, looking for new clubs at the end of the season, trying to get people to pay them 80k a week, and the look on their faces when only league 1 clubs are interested. Priceless

Can't disagree with that & results confirm it.

On paper the team doesn't look bad & better than others but one thing they're definitely not is a Team.

Almost looking forward to next year now when can have a clear out of the dross.

all we've heard the past 2 weeks is that the players have finally gelled, they were more up for this match than any other, they'll give everything to win. I could go on with more propaganda but you've heard it all before.
truth is I didnt see any of the above today.
it was embarrassing. I doubt I'll see many QPR shirts out and about anymore. they'll be going back in the draw to stop us getting laughed at.
    mines there now..
