Hello and welcome.

Liverpool return to Barclays Premier League action when they host Fulham at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers' Reds will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat by rivals Arsenal.

In the corresponding fixture last season, Liverpool ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over the Cottagers.

Liverpool, who lost away to Arsenal last Saturday will be looking for an immediate response this Saturday when they meet Fulham at Anfield. Their second loss of the season has dampened spirits temporarily in the red half of Merseyside, but a return to winning ways could be just what the doctor ordered. Liverpool, who started off well against Arsenal got pegged back by a Cazorla volley and never really recovered. This was the second time this season SAS (Suarez & Sturridge) failed to score, which concentrically is the only two games the reds have lost.

Fulham and Martin Jol, on the other hand are under increasing pressure after a 3-1 loss at home to Manchester United. Martin Jol's job is under threat, and three points away to Liverpool could ease some of the pressure. Fulham have only managed to conjure up 10 goals in 10 games, and have conceded 15 in the same amount, having won 3 games, drawn 1 and lost 6.

    Johnson should be back.

Enrique is back in training but unsure if he'll be involved in the match.

According to 'bib theory', it appears Rodgers will play 4-4-2. Toure and Sakho dropped, so it will be Agger and Skrtel at the back.

It makes sense - Toure is no spring chicken and it's a game we should be winning without him ...

Give him a chance to rest?

Don't get me wrong - Toure should be a starter IMO <ok>

i kind of agree if toure is in training then he's fit so i expect him to play. i don't think fulham are that bad that he'd do 4-4-2

Fulham midfielder Pajtim Kasami has unfinished business at Liverpool ahead of his Anfield return on Saturday.

The Swiss rising star spent eight months on trial on Merseyside as a teenager, only for paperwork to scupper any chance of a permanent deal.

Kasami has since carved out a career in England with the Cottagers via Italian outfits Lazio and Palermo.

The 21-year-old is relishing the return to the North West as Fulham bid to end a run of three successive defeats against the Reds.

Recalling his spell at Liverpool, Kasami said: “It went well but I had some problems with my documents because I was very young.

“I have fond memories of my time up there. I met a lot of good people. I played two friendlies for the reserves, with players like Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso.

“I am looking forward to going back up there.”

Brendan Rodgers’ team go into the Anfield clash as favourites against a Fulham side who are struggling for form.

And Kasami is desperate to stop the rot going before the international break.

He added: “Liverpool is a very important game now but they have started the season well, so it is going to be very difficult.

“We need to step up and play as a team. We can take confidence from the second-half performance against Manchester United.”
