my entire house doubted too. what a day. lets enjoy this, we may not have another day like this for a while.
I thought we'd win today but didn't think Blackpool would get anything. I'm going there on holiday now to support their tourist trade as a "thank you"! Not the first time that Nige has pulled off a miracle (got lucky?) on the last day. And didn't you know that our great goal difference would play a part somehow?
If, and it's a big IF, we do go up, I'll certainly buy you a beer Ed, a crate even, infact as you're a student I may do your washing for you as well
I am over the moon about the results today and that we have made the play-offs - but it doesn't change my concerns about Nigel Pearson as a manager one bit - and I hope he has learnt something from both the last encounter with Watford and also the last time we had a play-off semi ... I would love it if he proves me completely wrong in everything and goes on to become a Leicester City legend as manager .. but we got out of jail today, against all the odds ... we were favourites along with Cardiff to go up directly in January ... we blew that spectacularly - here's hoping that we don't blow this lifeline ...
I was just wondering. Would you rather go up with Pearson with the concerns we know about him or stay down and appoint a bright, new, upcoming manager with fresh ideas and more exciting football?
Any manager that takes us up deserves his chance - but we are not there yet and I think Nigel still needs to take us up to secure his position ...
