Presuming the FA rejects Dr. Allam's appeal against the refusal to allow the change of name which becomes irrelevant if the club is sold before then, who might our new owners be? I hope the rumours about Ridsdale are just rumours. It will be the best laugh Leeds fans have had in years if Ridsdale does to City what he did to Leeds .... currently banned from any role as a company director but he is "Director of Football" at Preston North End. Macau casino owner stumping up the dosh. That should be a prophylacyic against match-fixing in City matches ...... i wonder if Mark Hateley is considering a return to management?

Macau casino owner allegedly ... who knows but speculation has started. FA decision is November apparently. Dr. Allam's a creative deal maker so I reckon he'll come up with something ..... he can afford to walk away and lose a bit of dosh ... the players are basically his ... I reckon Bruce will walk ... he's only on a rolling contract, Hernandez and Diame are raising their value by being on televised pitches ... like Boyd, I reckon Bruce's signings will go for more money than they cost If buyers for the club (basically, the squad and the Premier League status) aren't forthcoming I expect the cream of the squad will be sold in January ....

Merge?

How about delete?

This dude has posted the biggest pile of ****e seen on here for some time and there has been a lot of ****e posted on here recently.

dont usually disagree with you and Kempes but i do. The thread title is relevant. What does happen? November isnt far away.

Not sure about all the Macau stuff like.

We don't know if anything will happen in November, we haven't even appealed to anyone yet.

The Macau stuff is bollocks, like everything else this idiot posts.

There will definitely be a post Allam era, when is up for debate.

My problem here is not with the poster, as such, or his views, rather that this is posting **** for ****'s sake.

Decent thread title yes, but the content was bollocks once you got past the first sentence.

So concentrate on the thread title, it's a reasonBle question. November or a bit later. The Fa reject allams appeal, he will get his money out I'm sure of that.
Who would you like? What would you like to happen?

Total rubbish....Allam will not walk away if it means making a loss & a new investor will only be interested if there is a prospect of making money & the Prem is where that money is, keeping us in the Prem keeps that money coming in

The board is rapidly becoming awash with a load of anti-CTWD sentiments that did not exist until Allam spent a ****load of money but we still sang CTID.

WHAT A LOT OF UTTERLY SPINELESS, EASILY BOUGHT ARSE CANDLES.

What would I like?

I'd like the FA to stamp on the name change - I think they will.

I'd like the Allams to stay and stop cocking about - I don't think they really want to sell - this is just a stubborn principle thing for the old man, probably cultural and whilst he is the patriarch of the family Ehab can say or do nothing against him.

If he sells then it matters not a jot to me who comes in. They have put their money down and will run the club as they see fit to maximise their investment.
So you could therefore say it's actually a circular argument insomuch that we could have all the same issues with any new owner.

For clarity I'm;
a) Not a member of CTWD
b) Against the name change
c) Not particularly Anti Allam because I think he genuinely has the clubs best interest at heart - except when he makes threats and disrespects the fans, living or dead on the eve of games.

If he wants to sell because he can't get his way, let him. Equally if the super fans want to f** off to Hull United or Ferriby, if he does get his way - let them.

I'm sick of hearing about it all to be honest, so might just stick to football threads from now on.

Whilst I'm at it, this 'where were you when we were s**t chant' on the back of 19.04 needs to stop. Especially seeing a couple of cock-bends, who were not old enough to 'see us s**t' belting it out and getting dealt with and generally told to shut the f** up by people who are.

None of us can help our age, but we can choose not to slavishly chant this stuff without considering the consequences, or I'd like to think so anyway.

Carmine is on the money with the 'super-fans' thing.

I absolutely defend anyone's right to delete my posts or filter me ... I even defend mark Gretton's right to post tweets like those about Dr. Allam and his hip flask as well as defending the right of other fans to perceive the singing at 1904 as protests and respond with boos and Dr. Allam to decide that even if the those opposing him are not a majority of fans, there are enough of them to make him throw in the towel. I do fail to understand why CTWD feel they can ask all the fans not to boo but they have no control over those singing "City 'til I Die" at 1904 mins ... which is what provokes the boos .... I also think CTWD will find there is opposition amongst a majority of fans if they try and have influence over whoever runs the club after the Allams. CTWD is, I reckon, a pretty toxic brand amongst most City fans .... there's not much to debate really ... The Allams have as good as moved on, whether of not CTWD are / were anti-Allam or not, the situation is too far gone ... in Dr. Allam's mind, Hull City is I reckon already the past and he'll be looking to the future and other ways to fill his time. It's not necessarily anyone's fault. It was nice while it lasted.

I absolutely and categorically defend your right to go and jump off Bempton Cliffs.
