If reports are to be believed then we are in for a few top quality players at the moment including a loan deal for Kaka and bids for Hazard etc... Honestly i believe we are 2 or 3 quality signings away from being a very strong side. Let's keep faith in Wenger until the transfer window is closed and see what we have - i think he may be working on something special.
Swap wilshere for Nasri as he is better in the dm/cm role, besides Nasri is going anyway. Kaka is not coming wenger wont spend 10mn in wages on an injury prone player. I do agree with a few additions we will be a lot better but Wenger has to address the tactical side as well our defense is too easily caught out of postion especially the full backs who run up the sidelines constantly when neither can cross. The dm's are a bit too attacking and should learn to sit back more especially when the FB's go charging. And going forward we look headless without Fabregas as Wenger is clearly trying to adapt a new faster/on the break style of play, but so far it means one dude runs with the ball but goes no where with it. So yes additions are required but if Wenger sits down and really addresses our tactics I believe we have the players, without additions, to get top 4.

I'm confident he will add players and i think he is looking for top class players aswell. Maybe not the ones i have said, but recon we will be seeing some good signings still.
What makes you think that? In interviews he's basically said he thinks there's nobody out there better than what he has already - which is pretty much delusional.
@the bear - depends what you believe he has made bids on Mvilla Hazard Mata Jagielka and looked at a few, i believe he says what he says to keep prices low plus from the link EmirAleks found he feels the players the board are looking at are not better than what we have and they are unwilling to go for player wages for the players he wants.
its a bit late to try to keep prices low !!!! If he had bought players earlier- Jan 2010 or Jan 2011 - or 3 weeks ago, then he might have got good players for reasonable cost. Now its a bit ****in late!
There are alot of rumours going round about alot of different players but it also seems liek we are geuinely interested in soem of these players and have enquired on bid for some players. Normally i ignore all the rumours as much as possible, but i do think AW wants to spend. I will be suprised if after letting Fabregas go we do not sign atleast one top quality player.
Also the price for the players i mentioned above would not be massive. £20 million for Hazard £0 for Kaka (although ~£9million a year for wages) £10 million for mertesaker? Maybe? No idea lol But your looking at £40 million getting spent and the team being improved massively for this season. I don't think these sort of signigns are out of the question and i think if we have a slight change in our wage structure that allows for the wages demanded by top players we may be suprised by who comes in.
2 0r 3 players.... we have been saying this for 4years now! Soon as you plug a gap somewhere blah blah.... I remember last season it was a Goal Keeper amongst many others.... On your other point keep schtum until the transfer windows closes, then complain afterwards? What good will that do, I guess there is always January to address the balance eh? Oh wait, player fees are usually exaggerated in January, so best we wait until next summer!
What i mean is keep faith until the transfer window closes. It's all well and good having a go at Wenger making no signings, but if behind the scenes he is arranging some quality signings and completes them on the last day - i'll be perfectly happy with him! And until the window is open we won't fully know what Wenger has or hasn't done and so it's too soon to judge and ask for his head etc... which some seem to be doing. Would you be happy if he does sign the 2-3 players? Would that win you back over to AW and the board?
That link by EmirAleks has made me see things differently. I believe now that Arsene will within the constraints placed on him do for our club more than any other manager out there could possibly achieve. So yes, he will need time and both our patience and support. He will find us the players and they will get the job done. Sadly for us it is a question of time. As for the board, we really should hound them out of office, the whole lot of them and without further delay. Then we can bring back David Dein.

I am not really having a go at the Wenger or the players, but I know how this club operates now, we were IMO 2-3 players from doing really well last season and finishing at least in the top 2..... I will be very surprised if we sign any more players (apart from Scott Dann) this season!
The minimum we need is for me at any rate an attacking midfielder a defensive midfielder and a CB. Would this board pay their salaries? Time to get rid of this board so the club can thrive
I think we need another defender, preferably one that can play CB and oen of the RB or LB positions, or can cover at DM - for this reason i think Vertonghen is the bets option, but i'd be happy with any top quality CB. I also think we need a creative midfield player, whether Nasri stays or not. No problem if the player is from the wing or centre of the park, but we need some mroe creativity to match the pace we are adding to the team. Kaka would be the ideal player for this imo and i've been raving abotu su trying to sign him for longer than these loan rumours have been about. Hazard is also an option. Other than that i'm pretty happy with the team. I did want another top quality striker but Campbell looks like a real talent. Wouldn't say no to a Benzema type though. A CB, a Midfielder and one other and we will have a very good team this year. Vertonghen, Kaka and Hazard would be my choice.

Kaka! Hazard! Mertesacker! These players have ambition so why would they move to Arsenal... Hazard wants to go to Madrid. Kaka would never consider Arsenal...
