    Mannone/Westwood

    Peruzzi - O'Shea - Roberge - ?????

    Cabral - Huddlestone

    Johnson - Sessegnon - Giaccherini

    Fletcher/Altidore

    rest of squad

Brown, Diakite, Cuellar, Larsson, N'Diaye, Karlsson, Mavrias

who knows what will happen with

Bardsley, Colback, Vaughan, Gardner, McClean, Ji, Wickham, Graham (I would sell them all bar Ji)

obv. we will swap around sometimes going 4/4/2 and the likes but I think that could well be the formation we use more often than not.

I think we have the basis of a decent squad there if we can get another 4 or 5 more faces.

    * I would love to see us bring in a young classy CB, Alderweireld turned down Norwich and I think he would be perfect for us and would fit the plan of what we are doing.

    * Danny Rose at left back

    * Alfred Duncan on a loan could well be on the cards a bit later in the transfer window?

    * Back up options at full back? Cavanda? Orban

    * Another striker? Vydra? Guidetti? Matri?

busy summer but I am really looking forward to next season

It's a big gamble mate it could go tits up but what we have done in the past has not worked so I'm all for it.

The difference this time is ES got rid of all the staff and is totally starting again.
I'm very excited for the season to start and to see who our staring 11 is against fulham

    Is Fletcher even training yet?

What about Wes Brown, why is he not in anyone's team?

Poolie - by the way I would play N'Diaye ahead of Huddlestone - much more mobile and a better player IMO

Fletch is training but won't play a part in friendlies until after the Asia Cup and Brown... Get this, played 45 minutes of the behind closed doors friendly! <ok>

So, back to my point, why does everyone pick a team not containing Brown, who on his day can be good.

Plus sounds by your short comment, like Fletcher will not be match fit.

I dont think there was much quality to create a core around upon which to add new few faces!

I'm happy to go with 8 - 9 new faces against Fulham. Just hope they get as much team-time together in the friendlies beforehand.

On another slightly different note, is no one the least bit concerned about the Peruzzi signing? It keeps being put back. Is this just a delaying tactic by him or his agent to see if he gets any bites from "bigger" clubs?
