Surely hes played more game than Wilshire this year Isn't he like the Swis Rooney? Guaranteed to be in the squad at least?
Brave of them to omit their captain (wish Roy would do the same with Rooney!), feel sorry for him though as I still think he's a good player, it just hasn't really worked for him here.
He apparently said he wanted a loan move in Jan because he didn't want to miss out on being in the Swiss team for the Euro's. Do feel for him, we were all really pleased when we signed him, the form of Kanté & Drinkwater haven't allowed him a look in. He doesn't seem to have adapted to the pace on the couple of occasions we've seen him.
