Reading several of the threads and comments on here they all seem to focus on the negative, but surely there were some positives??

I mean we have several players out injured, and we're battling to cope but by the Wolves game we should be near full strength, hopefully from then we can push on.

Ferguson did well from what I've heard.

Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game so if you could fill me in :D

PS: Sorry for playing **** <whistle>

Don't worry Shola, you were no worse than Lover! Plus your mask looked awesome, just a bad day at the office all round, the only player to come out with a good performance was Jonas.

Ferguson - yes he was good when he came on. Looked bright and confident in possession, got forward well and looks pacy. As Pardew has stated he looks like he needs to beef up a bit though.

Guti - was excellent all game. MOTM for me. Ran his socks off and had their defence worried all game. Got back well to help out the defence as well. A few more performances like his and we wouldn't have lost today.

Best - looked dangerous again and caused them problems. Also worked really hard. All in all looking a good player.

Harper - made some great saves to keep us in the game and managed his box well.

It wasn't all doom and gloom. Yes we lost but it was one of those games which could have gone either way. They took more of their chances than we did and that was the only real difference. We missed Barton's creativity though!
