I can think of one only - well two actually. Driving across the Dales on empty roads to get to the game. The other -staying in a super little pub -overnight. Yorkshire folk really are the friendliest people in England. Those are consolation prizes for having wasted another 2 hours of my life watching a team devoid of any ideas at all and being outplayed by a team that did its job quietly and efficiently even though it could easily be seen why they have not challenged the top teams all season. Still I can hardly expect creativity when the bossman chose to freeze out the one player who could have unlokcked practically every defence in this League If anybody still believes that we will win the play offs and then more than hold our own next season he is seriously deluded. Wake up Tony. By all means let Redknapp have his whine and moan and then do the decent thing - either put him out of his misery or make way yourself for someone who knows how to run a football club. You started with a windfall of £80 million and last year recorded a loss of £65 million. The biggest cost in all this has been the salaries paid to players who could not even make the starting line up not to mention two managers who have fleeced you royally. Yet you show absolutely no signs of having learned any lessons from this repeat fiasco. There is one more consolation. I get to do it all again next season when with a different team and a manager who is prepared to encourage his team to play football and have a go at trying to score. Anyone else want to put forward any positives before the happy clappers try to convince us that we are all fickle and that Harold is much maligned because he is doing far better than anyone could have hoped . Oh I forgot - we're nailed on certainties to win the play off final.
Same as usual. Redknapp took the piss out of him after the game, more or less laughing at him for missing an open goal from 8 yards. I don't know why he's laughing. He's the cu*t who keeps on picking him.
He's ****, I mean he makes macheda look like messi and Ronaldo combined, a truly dreadful player. As for the positives, the flyers can clinch a playoff spot tonight against a terrible team but are currently playing like Redknapp is the manager. Still, its 0-0 so far. Edit, the coach reads the riot act and we score 4 goals in 13 minutes. Funny how the person in charge can change a game like that.
We only need 7 points from the last 15 to be absolutely certain of a play off place. (we have got 4 points from the last 5 games........)
Positive: I went to bed early, slept well and didn't suffer for the last 35 minutes of the crap game.
Can't think of any, it makes your day at work feel like crap, I just want to go home had enough & no incentive to work just like the team.
