Not going to go into much detail but here you go...

    Positives:

Nicklas Bendtner - Looked very good today. Won virtually everything in the air versus Terry and Ivanovic, on his head and on his chest. Good first touch and neat touch for Jiiiiiiii to grab a consolation. He'll do well for us I'm sure. Just needs a strike partner. See negatives...

Jack Colback - Is our best central midfielder. FACT. Got stuck in, looked composed and ran for 90 minutes.

The Brown/Bramble partnership - Solid. Brown was again outstanding and Bramble was dominant in the air first half especially. With O'Shea in at full back we'll have a solid backline.

    Negatives:

The Captain - Catts had a shocker. He was either 10 yards backing off his man or flying straight past his man after missing him with his challenge. If Bruce has any bottle he'd drop Cattermole, captain or not captain.

Richardson - Again, I don't like jumping on the bandwagon for slagging a particular player off but he's not good enough. Simple as.

Bruce, his tactics and the formation - How many games is it going to take for Bruce to realise we NEED 2 up front???? 4-2-3-1 might work with some teams but not ours!! He keeps on saying Wickham and Ji aren't ready for the prem but Mr Bruce open your eyes for goodness sake!! Wickham stood his ground against Terry and Ji scored. One of them MUST start v Stoke otherwise Bruce will be on the thinnest of thin ice.

I'd single out Ji for a bit of praise today. That lad played in 44 degrees C in Kuwait mid-week. How he's got the energy to play - and score - today, I don't know. Well done to him.
