I'm saying 2-2 Posh score a lot of goals, they go forward in waves but often leave themselves open. They haven't scored in their last 2 matches, losing 0-2 away to Brighton & 0-2 at home to Boro in the CC. They've just signed Emile Sinclair from Macclesfield (who has already scored twice against us this season) City have only scored 2 goals (plus an OG) but with Brady in form & Waghorn in form for England U21s we might see more nets bulging. Recent History at London Rd: '04/05 Posh 2-3 City '99/00 Posh 2-1 City '98/99 Posh 1-1 City Both teams normally score in this fixture, Posh have a good historic home record vs City W12 D2 L4
I say us to win 2-1. Anyone remember Jon Whitney's goal there during The Great Escape? Very foggy night in January if memory serves.
First of all the City defence will be glad to get another chance with Emile Sinclair. It wont happen again thats for sure. He took advantage of a very lack lustre back line that night. City are in a much better place now after the Reading win and the 2 week break. I go for a 2-0 or just maybe a 3-1 Hull win. I dont care if all 3 goals are OG's. But i do think McLean will get one. Great to be going to a ground with a terrace behind the goal again. I sat on my dads shoulders for many a year when i was younger. Bring back the terrace i say. Even us women like to stand more than sit.
1 all dissapointment all round, Fryatt will score first midway through the 2nd half and P.boro will equalise with about 10 to go, the game will fizzle out into a stalemate both teams are happy with
up the table we will go, eee eyyyy eee eyyyyy eeeee eyyyyy oooooooo When we get promotion this is what we'll sing.....we all love you we all love you WAGGY IS THE KING......AGAIN.
I'd rather see Fryatt up front with Waghorn. Nowt against Mclean- just think the other two are better than him.
With Waggy having been away with the U21's he will hardly have had any time to meet (and train with) his new team mates. As such I'd be surprised if he started on Saturday
That Emile Sinclair has been playing very well recently (saw on football league show last couple of weeks) & we shouldn't take him lightly
1-1....peterborough no mugs, despite nearly everybody predicitng them to be in the bottom 3....ipswich may have gone down to 9 men against them in the 7-1..but it was still 4-1 - 11 v 11
