Difficult one to predict this week. Posh are an odd side. Sublime to useless and then back again in a matter of minutes so this could be a thriller. My line up would look something like: Hendo Hewitt Chambo Smith Cressy Drury N'Diaw Hyam Tabb Murph McGold Subs: Loach, Brown, Kisnorbo, JET, Chopper I get a sneaky suspicion that Brown will start ahead of Hewitt and that Murph will be played on the left with Chops up top I will be optimistic and go for a 1-3 for the town. Goals from Smith, Murph and Tabb
" this could be a thriller " The one thing I can absolutely guarantee is we will NOT be involved any any thrillers until next season! Really not sure how we'll line up here! Half wondering if Tabb will make it a 3 man CM, and if we'll go 4-5-1, but McCarthy likes two strikers. Henderson Chambers/Kisnorbo/Smith/Cressy Edwards/Tabb/N'Daw/Drury Choprs/Murphy. Lose 2-1. I think we'll stay up, but have a feeling there could be alarm bells ringing come 5pm tomorrow ( would sum up my week nicely! )
It's going to be an interesting game I think, Posh seem to be trying to outscore opponents whereas we are trying a very defensive approach. 18 goals in the last 10 league games / 15 conceded for Posh 8 goals in the last 10 league games / 7 conceded for Town I think we have improved defensively a lot, so much so we should be able to deal with them. Their attacking mentality will leave them exposed at the back and we should be able to grab a couple of goals. 2-0 Town, but a few shaky moments with Hendo (or loach) making some great stops.
2-3 End to end most entertaining game of the season... Henderson Brown/Hewitt Chambers (C) Smith (1) Cressy Drury/Edwards? Tabb Ndaw Murphy McGoldrick (1) Chopra (1)
Unfortuntately, you'll have to change your team, as you have included 6 loanees. Other than that, i'd agree with you, other than swapping Drury for Jet. Posh arent that great defensively, so we need some good creative players in there, and Jet seems to be the only one atm. And i also agree on 1-3..
Is there?? I've had another look through and can only count 5! It's getting to something that you forget who plays for you and who doesn't!
Actually, i may be wrong...does Murphy count as a foreigner? (You have Henderson, Tabb, Murphy, McGoldrick, Brown & Kisnorbo)
Henderson, Hewitt, Chambers, Tommy, Cresswell, Edwards, Tabb, N'Daw, Hyam, Murphy, McGoldrick Bench: JET, Brown, Nouble, Kisnorbo, Loach
I'm going for 1-0 win. We're pretty much stripped to the bare bones tommorrow, not sure Mick has really got much choice on who to start but I expect it to be: Henderson Hewitt, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell Edwards, Hyam, N'Daw, Tabb McGoldrick, Murphy I'd prefer to see Edwards not in there with maybe Drury brought in, and I'm still not a fan of the Hyam, N'Daw partnership. But with Chopra out uptop, there's not too many options for Mick unless he changes formation which is unlikely!!
Oh I don’t know – ME has mentioned his regret for the close season penny pinching. The lineup’ll be: Hewitt / Chambo / Smith / Cressy Edwards / Hyam / N’Daw / Tabb McGoldrick / Murphy Unfortunately we won’t win as I’m going, so a minimum three-goal defeat is assured. I’ve had my other half and her fellow white-witch new age pals researching a few incantations or whatever that might lift my curse on our away form, but nothing’s worked yet.
Will go for a 2-1 win for us. Peterborough will play well but be contained to long shots. Murphy will score one, McG the other. Really need to make sure we don't lose this one. Minxy......you won't find any rep here lass
LOL .... Im more than happy to educate you in our ways Anyway, safe journey to any who maybe traveling over tomorrow but I hope you leave empty handed .... we need the points more than you!
