Sorry if this has been posted , but he says he was not aware of what went on here with Harry before ? Not saying I don't believe him , but surely someone MUST tell him and get the Team up for it ?
Schneiderlin said the same, it doesn't bother the players and staff. People come and go, fans are the constant. I don't think it's import if Pochettino knows why or not. As he said, he respects the fans may give some to Harry but please support us too.
No Southampton FC's players need to ignore everything to do with Harry Redknapp’s history with the club. It’s of no concern to Poch and his players. Harry Redknapp’s past isn’t going to win the team 3 points against QPR. Southampton are in a relegation fight and this isn’t helping. Fans can throw abuse at Redknapp but when that whistle rings, nothing should matter to the Saints staff, players and fans apart from the win.
The players should be treating this like any other game. Because it is. If I was Pochettino I'd be downplaying the whole return of Redknapp thing.
This is between the fans and Redknapp and even that isn't important compared to the result. A little bit of chanting and then onto the match.
I can't think of any reason why an Argentinian who has played and managed in Spain would give a flying jump about Harry Redknapp. Nor can I be bothered to give a toss myself. Let's just concentrate on getting 3 points and moving away from the trapdoor.
The relevance of Harry to what is important today is negligable - all energy is best used to supporting the team get the three points to help the club stay up why waste energy giving him any recognition whatsoever - but this is the real world and some wont be able to help themselves.
Redknapp said today that Saints are a good team and will not be relegated...not a complete idiot then
Not sure Harry will even be at the game, Rumour has it he is on a sun bed in Dubai rubbing cream onto his dogs belly.
