What you think? Paper talk or any substance? http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...an_wolfswinkel_say_portuguese_press_1_1986699 Would be a good price for him if true. I hope it has substance.
After last weeks talk about it, this is quite possible but I would want to see something official from the club before I have an inside short explosion experience
Happy days, I can't possibly see this fizzling out into rumour again. One question, if true, does this mean Norwich board are convinced we're safe this season or is it perhaps more likely that this deal is conditional on us surviving? Personally can't see a club agreeing to a deal on that basis. Either buy him or don't etc.
Just read a report that RVW will be a canary come the summer. (Evening News online). Does this mean the powers in charge at Carrow Rd are already convinced that we are safe? The fee quoted was 10mil
Also reported as a done deal in the pink un', there's another thread on this one so hopefully the mods will merge them later
Could well be on the basis of guaranteed PL football but hopefully we are in a decent enough position to ensure that in the next 3-4 games
Surely even if true Holt wouldnt be the one out the door it'd be Jacko (as much as I love the guy, I really do) its time to move on. If this is true I shall have a "moment" Exciting times if we can just flop over the finish line...
Holt and RVW are completely different types of striker. Both are needed in the premier league. HOLT STAYS!
Just been translating some of the comments from here : http://www.abola.pt/nnh/comentarios.aspx?id=390283 which was the paper to release the story in Portugal. Seems a lot of the posters feel RVW's rights are held by a third party, so part of the initial payment would be for the current players wages and the rest to a dodgy agent/agents. It looks like a lot of the commentary is about paying off a debt...google translate isn't perfect, but that's the gist I got.
I'd love to see the 2 of them playing together - but whoever plays up front, they NEED better and more plentiful balls into the penalty area!!!
The 3rd party i believe is peter Kenyon. Even if we went down we could probably sell him for a profit if we needed too. Though personally I don't believe it.
I have a lazy lob-on at the thought of this - could develop into a full-on metal chubby if it is confirmed.
Man, this is a really crappy buy for you guys. He's specialty is missing goals. Just an example. Minute 3.40, just laugh http://desporto.sapo.pt/futebol/pri..._o_resumo_do_cl_ssico.html#?tab=content-video In Portugal there are lots of better strikers. Sporting is like a walking dead Club, they have 2 months of wages not paid, so they are selling it to pay them. Currently 10th. They are like the laugh of the Portuguese Championship
