My lad played for Mangotsfield last night against a strong Rovers side.. this meant I was basically watching the game in a Rovers home ground environment, that was an experience I can tell you, I have a City tattoo on my right upper arm and that got some looks (good job they don't have any brain function cos they couldn't figure it out!) and my missus shouted back to me at one point, "When do the City games start again then".. I've been in the bath 3 times today but can't get to feel clean again.. so off to Portugal later to get the my proper feeling back amongst my own.. Anyone else off to Portugal with the City??
Not off to Portugal but I was at the match myself; not supporting Rovers, I live across the road in Emersons Green. Decent game mind you, I thought both keepers were excellent. Harrison was lucky with one his challenges towards the Emersons Green end, completely caught the ankles of a Mango player, could have been nasty.
Nah I'm off to Greece to celebrate their bank holidays, and take the loan agreement over from Wonga for them.
