yes i read somewhere the supporters went to the training ground to ask the players please leave in a nice way as it will save the club, all the players stoped to listen apart from Tal Ben Haim who just drove straight past them all. so im guessing that they would field their youngsters for the opening game??????
They probably wont have a game as they will be liquidated unless Haim leaves because the prospective new owner will not take over with Lawrence or Haim on the books.

Bad news on Pompey. So if they go bust what happens to the extra place in League 1? Nothing I guess as all of the fixtures have been done so I guess they just play with 23 teams in the league?
As I understand it, there are a set of four Pompey-supporting rich guys forming a trust to help bail them out.
