Another low key defeat from a lack-lustre performance. I feel for the Charlton fans who travelled and had to endure that. Our only consolation at the moment is that the bottom 4 are cut adrift in this league. We're still 10 points above 21st place MK Franchise.
We had most of the possession Vale had most of the shots, so we presumably spent the time passing slowly around the defence. The post-match thread on CL is savage in its criticism from those brave souls who went there.
Savage criticism sounds fully justified in my view. Charlton Athletic are rubbish. Yes, rescuing a point after twice being 2 goals down gave cause for some cheer and relief a few weeks ago. But we have followed that result with two wretched performances. Garner needs to front up and explain himself.
Time for Garner to think of a way of dropping Stockley. This season is becoming a nightmare for him and he needs to be taken out of the firing line.
