Porr Vale away with no Wollacott or Mac, so a welcome return to our youth keeper.
No idea how to predict Charlton right now, but I bet this won't be 0-0

    How did MacGillivray get injured?

Must be galling for him - waits months for this six week window to get some games, then ends up on the treatment table.

HT 0-0... not exactly thrill-a-minute so it seems

I'll be interested to see the highlights of this- there weren't any. Terribly lacklustre performance. I thought it was last week we were running on fumes?

    Good grief.

Port Vale 1-0 up, with 13 chances to their name now.
Charlton have had ONE off target shot in the whole second half.

Another low key defeat from a lack-lustre performance.
I feel for the Charlton fans who travelled and had to endure that.

Our only consolation at the moment is that the bottom 4 are cut adrift in this league.
We're still 10 points above 21st place MK Franchise.

We had most of the possession Vale had most of the shots, so we presumably spent the time passing slowly around the defence. The post-match thread on CL is savage in its criticism from those brave souls who went there.

Savage criticism sounds fully justified in my view.

    Charlton Athletic are rubbish.
Yes, rescuing a point after twice being 2 goals down gave cause for some cheer and relief a few weeks ago.
But we have followed that result with two wretched performances.
Garner needs to front up and explain himself.

Time for Garner to think of a way of dropping Stockley. This season is becoming a nightmare for him and he needs to be taken out of the firing line.

Only problem with that is we don’t have anyone to replace him - Leaburns injured and chucks can only do 30 minutes

DJ (remember him?) has played there, he only needs to do an hour before Chuks comes on. OK Garner has to alter tactics but that's what he's paid for, to make the best of what he's got. Now that he's started washing our dirty linen in public he's probably on borrowed time anyway.

I do indeed - not much of a choice to be fair - a shadow of himself “Stockley “ or a stuttering DJ - we’re fuked until TS can find some pennies down the back of the fans sofa in January
