    On the official site Pope has signed a three year deal.

    Is this a sign that Roland is looking for beatification in St Peeters Square?

    Yep, the first shred of good news this summer.

    Pope, Solly, Gomez, Fox, Poyet, Cousins, Harriott & Piggot.

    Looks like the basis for a good, home grown side to me.

    Now watch Duchatelet go and f**k it up.

    This news has put the brakes on my plummetting happiness graph. Not only does it mean that Pope will be our number one next season (I rate him above Hamer), it means that Roland has been listening to Ben Roberts rather than his computer nerds. We still need some sort of backup, since Phillips needs to go out on loan at a lower level to get the experience, but there's no rush.
