The balloon has burst Tonight we deserved nothing,Bolton wanted it more. The last 6 games points wise are poor, carry on in the same way, then top six will be a pipe dream. Not good enough
I don't want to criticise but everything about us tonight from top to bottom was amateurish, no style, no ambition, no bloody good, we should be able to deal with sides like this, so disappointed.
Promotion chasing sides would and should put those teams at the bottom to the sword. Take away the cup games, the last 6 league games points returned are woeful. Certainly not top six material Wiz
Didn't feel we deserved to lose, but we defo didn't deserve to win. Very poor, never seen so much head tennis in a game at this level. We were totally clueless tonight. It could all have been so different though if it wasn't for a god awful decision from the ref in the 7th minute not to award us a penalty. I have been lucky to see 12 of City's games live on TV here this season and this performance was easily the worst!
Our strength is energy and willingness to work hard for each other and close the opposition down. Tonight it seemed we forgot these basics , the quicker we get back to playing to our strengths the better. It seemed Bolton wanted it more than we did, they seemed more desperate to stay up than we are to go up. It's not too late by any means, but if we don't improve soon it may be, as there are teams around us on good runs at the moment
Too many had nightmares tonight.. Bryan terrible. Diedhou useless. Kent is decent on the ball but his defensive work rate is weak. 1 shot on target I can remember? We deserved nothing and got nothing.
Deserved nothing, terrible performance, really hate seeing Smith at RB, much more influential in Midfield, I think maybe we atleast should have bought in a RB in the window but hey ho. We are still in a great position none the less and hope we perform much better against Sunderland, we have to.
This is no more of a bubble burst than Cardiff suffered recently - and a couple of wins and they are back up there. We had a crap day at the office and were punished for it.
It’s 4 games. Cardiff lost 4. It’s not good, but it’s not catastrophic either. We are still in a playoff spot and we have our new signings plus Diedhiou back. Another couple of dire performances then I may start to agree, but not yet.
Depends where you start it from. It’s actually 4 from the last 3 games. Which includes two away games one against second in the league and a home game with only ten men.
There was always going to be a dip - and this is it Stating the obvious, but we need to beat Sunderland on Saturday
