Just extended the sympathy to Steve, Mick & Co, poor buggers indeed!

Do you suppose Paul Dalglish will get a mention <laugh>

If we need to loan out any of the players for the coming season we know where we can send them.

    Bah!

    Whose bright idea was that?

Also, what is their chief scout doing going on holiday in June?

Exactly my thought on the story..

Obviously he isn't able to physically watch any players during the summer but it's arguably the busiest time of the year for most clubs and their managers and Millwall aren't blessed with a large backroom of staff so it should be all hands to the pumps

I imagine with the new gaffer in place the chief scout was going to be shown the door anyway but this does seem a bit farcical <ok>

it's not unusual for a chief scout to go on holiday at this time - their work is already done! it's down to the board and manager to sort deals from now on. the problem here i would imagine has been the change of manager, therefore new targets may have been identified while the chief scout is away.

He's certainly better suited to the scouting role than the manager one!

Why would making a few phonecalls hasten our demise, and why would you wish it?

Mr Ratty has a knack of screwing up things he touches. I don't really wish for Millwall to disappear, just the mention of the name brings back memories of witnessing horrible football violence as a 7 year old.

Thought when I first saw that headline that they had appointed Roy Keane as manager, alas...another time perhaps?

Haha he's got a job... Must laugh as he was working for villa as a scout before and heavily influenced and persuaded them to buy jean Makoun, £8m they won't see again. Not sure this is the brightest move.
