Getafe revealed as victims of fraud by fake Arab sheikhs. The Getafe president was promised the club would receive an investment of 10 million euros by an Arab sheikh, who turned out to be a Brazilian waiter who was paid 50 euros to dress up as a sheikh, an arab billionaire. http://www.as.com/english/articulo/getafe-revealed-as-victims-of/20120627dasdenspo_1/Ten
I think you've got the facts slightly wrong there. The Brazilian waiter wasn't one of the fraudsters, he was just paid by them to pose as a sheikh.
Well done AlanSFC, your guesswork didn't serve you well this time! Common sense mate, common sense! Try using it next time! Wheyyyyyy!
"the club would receive an investment of 10 million euros by an Arab sheikh, who turned out to be a Brazilian waiter..."
Can't see what argument is about. Fraudsters hire a waiter who automatically becomes one of the fraudsters.
"who was paid 50 euros to dress up as a sheikh, an arab billionaire." Being paid suggests he wasn't in on the fraud originally. You even said that in your post about him having got the facts wrong
Might as well add a proper response to this thread. It's funny how people think they can get away with stuff like this. What was their plan of action when the club chased them up after their promised investment?
Yeah except the waiter wasn't in on the rest of the deal, i.e. the guarantee of solvency. He just got 50 euros. The fraudsters who promised the takeover stood to make a whole lot more. My head hurts. All I'm trying to point out is that the waiter wasn't one of the people who promised the takeover. He was just some guy they paid.
In Brazil a waiter is called Garçon, but a female waiter (using a word that the ever resourceful Brazilians have completely made up) is a Garçonette. This makes her a ladyboy.
Brazilians have destroyed the Portuguese language with stupid words just like the Americans have with english. Why do they do this?
I think it's great myself. I love the higgledy piggledy way they do things over there. You go to Brazil to find what you weren't looking for.
Language evolves over time. That's how all languages have come to be. Portugal began colonising Brazil in 1534. That's 478 years of evolution of the Portuguese culture contained in Brazil.
